Prioritized Lists of Tasks Provide Solutions to Potential Problems

TaskList
If ForeSight identifies a potential problem, it delivers alerts to key employees and provides them with prioritized lists of tasks required to remedy these problem conditions.

Task lists are organized according to users’ roles, in the required sequences and timeframes, and reflect all dependencies among contributors’ tasks. The tasks are recommended based not only on what the order in question needs to ship complete and on the original promise date, but to minimize any impact on other orders in process. Users post the status of their tasks in the ForeSight portal, and any relevant comments, for real-time review by peers and managers.

With ForeSight specifying the tasks to be done, even emergency processes become orderly and predictable rather than subject to individual judgment, manual overrides, and loss of traceability. The whole team become heroes without the last-minute “heroics” associated with expediting parts, interrupting production cycles, using rush shipment, or placating angry customers for late delivery.

The priority list of tasks takes the guesswork out of knowing the best solution
Prioritized task lists are key to achieving Effective Order Fill. Not only do they facilitate prompt resolution of potential roadblocks to meeting promised delivery dates, they provide an efficient, documented process for doing so at minimum cost and impact on other orders.
